Kerry John, O.D., F.A.A.O.

Dr. Kerry John was raised in Clarendon Hills, Illinois, and attended Benet Academy. She received a Bachelor of Arts in Biology from Indiana University in Bloomington, with a minor in Psychology; she is a member of Delta Gamma sorority. In 2001, after attending the Illinois College of Optometry, where she served as the student body president, Dr. John completed a post-doctoral residency program in Primary Care and Ocular Disease at the Illinois Eye Institute.
Prior to the past ten years in private practice optometry, Dr. John was a clinical instructor at the Illinois Eye Institute for optometric students and also taught medical residents at Rush University Medical Center. As a former Associate Director for a refractive surgery practice, she has co-managed hundreds of LASIK and PRK patients.
In her spare time, Dr. John enjoys spending time with her husband James, her kids Gillian and Liam, and their two crazy dogs Charlie and JoJo.
She is a fellow of the American Academy of Optometry and a member of the American Optometric Association and the Illinois Optometric Association.
