Meet Dr. Kyle Young

 

Learn about Dr. Young’s experience, expertise, and perhaps, most importantly, his pride in providing high-quality, personalized eye care for his patients.

Dr. Kyle Young was born and raised in LaGrange, Illinois, and graduated from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign with a Bachelor’s degree in molecular and cellular biology. He later received his doctorate from the Illinois College of Optometry. Dr. Young, along with Dr. Combs, are proud to own and operate 20/20 EyeCare & EyeWear.

He is a member of the American Optometric Association as well as the Illinois Optometric Association.

Through his training at the Cincinnati VAMC, Mack Eye Center, Visionary Eye Care, and the Illinois Eye Institute he developed expertise in primary care, as well as in the management of:

• glaucoma,
• diabetic eye care,
• dry eye,
• and pediatric eye care.

Additionally, he is experienced in the treatment of anterior segment disease, urgent care, and post-operative care of refractive surgeries and cataract extractions.

Dr. Young’s goal when he sees his patients is to improve their quality of life. He builds long-term relationships with his patients through high-quality, detailed examinations.  He prides himself in taking the time to address each patient’s individual questions and concerns.

In his free time, he enjoys fishing, golfing, and woodworking.
